Students who take courses in Health and Physical Education are giving themselves a background for the following careers: athlete, biomedical engineer, coach, fitness consultant/instructor, health technician, journalist, commentator, physical and occupational therapist, public health worker, recreational leader, referee, social worker, sports medicine, teacher, trainer, youth/child worker; and for careers in business, kinesiology, nursing, public relations, and sports medicine.
