Databases bought by TDSB & Ontario Government plus the following bought by ACCI's library:
  1. SIRS Researcher...Providing Targeted Resources for Student Research: Use the editorially selected resources supporting research assignments, in full text article format, that explore social, scientific, helath, historic, economic, business, political and social issues. As well, use Leading Issues or the Topic List to have a more focused search. Templates for research, essays, presentations.

  2. Facts on File New Service: Within this database, students have access to two different databases:
    1. Issues and Controversies Tab use this database to find a balanced discussion on over 70 controversial topics
    2. Today’s Science Tab use this database for the latest developments in Science, Technology and Medicine, as well as biographies, a glossary and recommended websites searchable by subject or keyword

  3. Student Resource Center Health Module (Gale Cengage): Students have access to over 1,400 essays, 60 full-text medical magazines, 200 pamphlets and 300 images of medical and health related topics in the fields of medicine, chemistry and biology.

Networked PC computers in the computer lab are for class bookings by subject teachers and for individual student use. To be used for school assignment research only. E-mail allowed on 4 computers for school work only

Multimedia Production & Design Lab of MACS
Project-based learning supported by Multimedia -- students go through the 4 Stages of Research to produce a DVD using iLife.
